This product is a 2 ml injection containing Acetylcysteine BP at a concentration of 200 mg/ml. It is specifically designated for IV Use Only (intravenous administration). Acetylcysteine is primarily used as an antidote for acetaminophen (paracetamol) overdose to prevent liver damage. It is a prescription-only medication (Rx) that must be stored protected from light at temperatures not exceeding 25°C and should not be frozen. The solution should be inspected for particles before use.
