Phytomenadione Injection IP

Phytomenadione is a synthetic form of Vitamin K1.

• Primary Use: It is used to treat or prevent bleeding disorders caused by Vitamin K deficiency.

• Emergency Use: It is the standard treatment to reverse the effects of anticoagulant medications (like Warfarin) in the event of an overdose or dangerous bleeding. It is also routinely given to newborns to prevent “hemorrhagic disease of the newborn.”
